Conociendo un poco de Nina García.

Les platico que la semana pasada fuí a la boutique Puntoicoma en Bosques de las Lomas a una entrevista con Nina García. Por si no la conocen ella es una famosa editora de moda, directora de Marie Claire, escritora de varios libros sobre moda y además seguramente la han visto en la televisión como jurado de Project Runway en Estados Unidos.

El motivo de la visita a México es para promover la causa Help Trough Fashion en donde durante Junio podrás comprar y al mismo tiempo ayudar por medio de una tarjeta. Algunos de las puntos que se hablaron en la entrevista:

 -Básicos en su guardarropa: Un vestidito negro (LBD), Una camisa o blusa blanca y tacones, le encantan los tacones debido a que es bajita.

-Limitantes al ser latina ( ella es Colombiana): No dice haber tenido ninguna limitante, siempre estuvo preparada.

 -Lo más dificil de la moda: La competencia y convencer a los demás de que la moda es una industria importante y no es superficial como muchos creen.

-Momento más emocionante y que más recuerda: El primer desfile profesional de moda al que asistió.

 -Nina es de las que piensa que la moda es para divertirse, se vale probar de todo y no hay reglas.

- Hoy en día es indispensable que las marcas se actualicen en la tecnología, cree que los blogs son importantes y que tarde o temprano las marcas tendrán que adaptarse a los cambios tales como las redes sociales.

Last week I went to the boutique Puntoicoma in Bosques de las Lomas for an interview with Nina Garcia. In case that you don´t not know who is, she is a famous fashion editor, director of Marie Claire, author of several books about fashion and also probably  you have seen on tv as a judge of Project Runway in the U.S..

 I enjoyed to meet her in person and  I must say she is a simple woman with a good deal. 

Some of the points that were discussed in this interview:

  -Basic in your wardrobe: A black dress (LBD), a white shirt (blouse) and heels, she loves the heels  because she is a little bit short.

-Limitations to be latin american (she is Colombian): she is always prepared, she doesn´t have any problem about that.

 -The most difficult thing in fashion: To convince others that fashion is an important industry and is not superficial as many people believe.

-Her moment more exciting in fashion: the first professional runway that she went. 

-Nina thinks that fashion is funny, there are  no rules in fashion.

- Today it is essential that the brands  have to stay updated in the technology, she believes that the blogs are important. Sooner or later the brands will have to adapt to the  changes such as social networks.
